Devil's Staircase "Blushing" 2018
Our 'Blushing' is a beautiful example of a Blanc de Noir where "red wine meets white wine”. Made using 100% Pinot Noir grapes, as if we were making a white wine, the juice is pressed and left in contact with its skins for a mere 2 hours.
The result is a delicate Pinot Noir, with a beautiful pale blush hue, in harmony with the clean and refreshing style that a Central Otago white wine would offer.
Bob Campbell MW | 2016 Pinot Noir
A silken- textured wine in a very appealing and accessible style. Another winner from Rockburn.
Raymond Chan | 2016 Pinot Noir
This is a well-proportioned and concentrated, sweetly rich Pinot Noir with cherry, raspberry, plum and liquorice notes on a finely structured palate.
John Saker | 2015 Pinot Noir
It wouldn’t be a Cuisine pinot noir tasting without a Rockburn, a winery with a great success record over an extended period.
