Rockburn Wines Unveils New Winery Cellar Door
The newest chapter at Rockburn has begun, arriving just in time for the holiday and summer season. Rockburn Wines is delighted to announce the relocation of its Cellar Door to the very heart of the Rockburn Winery, offering visitors a tasting experience that is more immersive, authentic, and engaging than ever before.
Set among the picturesque Cromwell foothills, the Rockburn Winery and new Cellar Door now sit truly at the centre of it all. This move marks the beginning of a uniquely behind-the-scenes experience—one that invites guests to step inside a working winery and discover the team that brings Rockburn’s acclaimed wines to life. Visitors can expect the same personalised tastings and warm hospitality from Rockburn’s dedicated team, now enhanced with a deeper connection to the craft, the place, and the people behind every bottle.
Guests are invited to explore the stunning line-up of Rockburn wines or elevate their visit with an exclusive guided tour of the winery hosted by one of Rockburn’s talented winemakers. Whether you’re a long-time supporter, a local looking for a new experience, or a visitor discovering Central Otago’s wine country, the new Cellar Door provides a rare opportunity to experience Rockburn behind the scenes.
The Cellar Door at the Rockburn Winery will open to the public for tastings from 16th December 2025, with a special holiday schedule running through to the end of the December. Regular hours will begin 6 January 2026, operating Tuesday to Saturday by appointment.
