Rockburn Strikes Gold Twice at Decanter 2024
(New Zealand): The 2024 Decanter World Wine Award winners have been announced, and Central Otago’s Rockburn has proudly earned two Gold Medals: one for its Rockburn Twelve Barrels Gibbston Pinot Noir 2022 (95 points) and another for its Rockburn The Chosen Hillside Parkburn Pinot Noir 2022 (95 points).
This prestigious award solidifies Rockburn's status as a world-class winery and further validates the exceptional calibre of Pinot Noir crafted by the Rockburn team.
The Decanter World Wine Awards is the largest and most influential wine competition. Judged in London over a week in May, a distinguished panel of 243 leading wine experts, including 20 Master Sommeliers and 61 Masters of Wine from 33 countries, blind-taste over 18,000 wines from 57 countries to highlight the best wines globally.
Only 15 Gold Medals were awarded to New Zealand wines, with Rockburn proudly picking up the only two gold’s given to Central Otago.
