Results from both the 2025 Decanter World Wine Awards and the International Wine Challenge have recently been released and Rockburn is pleased to announce that our current Pinot Noirs (and some yet to be released) achieved great scores.
In its 22nd edition, Decanter World Wine Award is one of the world's most influential industry competitions. With over 18,000 international wines being judged by 248 top experts, included among them 22 Master Sommeliers and 72 Masters of Wine, the competition is rigorous.
Rockburn brought home 90+ points on seven wines this year. Including our current releases: Rockburn Seven Barrels DBV Gibbston Pinot Noir 2023 (90 points), Rockburn Pinot Noir 2023 (91 points), Rockburn Eleven Barrels Parkburn Pinot Noir 2023 (91 points) and Rockburn The Art Pinot Noir 2022 (93 points).
The two wines yet to be released include: Rockburn The Chosen 777 Pinot Noir 2023 (93 Points) and Rockburn The Chosen Abel Pinot Noir 2023 (90 points) respectively.
The results don't end there, The International Wine Challenge has also recently published results for 2025. Having a legacy spanning over 40 years the International Wine Challenge brings together over 500 experts from around the globe to judge wines from 52 countries.
Six Rockburn Pinot Noirs brought home 90+points. Current releases include: Rockburn Seven Barrels Gibbston Pinot Noir 2023 (92 points), Rockburn Pinot Noir 2023 (92 points), Crimson Peak Pinot Noir 2023 (92 points), Devil's Staircase Pinot Noir 2024 (91 points) and Rockburn Eleven Barrels Parkburn 2023 (90 points). The Rockburn The Chosen 777 Pinot Noir 2023 (90 Points) will be released later this year.
From both esteemed competitions, Rockburn remains a strong contender with closely ranked wines in each, showing quality and consistency across the board.
